Plumbing that fits the cabinet plan

Put the pipes where the new kitchen needs them
Moving the sink or adding a dishwasher changes more than the cabinet plan. Kitchen replumbing can revise hot and cold feeds, wastes and isolation points for sinks, washing machines, dishwashers and other water-fed appliances. We agree those positions alongside the cabinetry, because a pipe emerging through the middle of a useful drawer is nobody's idea of clever storage. Connection points also need to remain accessible where required. For wider renovations, we can include radiator moves and plinth-heater work where specified. The aim is to support the layout cleanly without sacrificing cabinet space or creating hard-to-reach fittings.
Complete first-fix before cabinets arrive
We carry out the agreed first-fix plumbing after strip-out and before plastering or cabinet installation. This is when new routes, feeds and wastes can be positioned with the least disruption. Once walls and surfaces are prepared, the cabinetry can be fitted around the planned connections. Final-stage work then covers the agreed sink, tap and appliance connections at the appropriate point in the programme. Planning both stages together reduces the risk of late pipe changes damaging fresh plaster or finished units. It also keeps appliance information and cabinet dimensions tied to the actual service layout.

Frequently asked questions
Can you move my kitchen sink across the room?
A sink can often be moved, but the available hot and cold feeds, waste route and floor or wall construction must be considered. We assess the new position alongside the cabinet plan before confirming the required replumbing.
When is first-fix kitchen plumbing completed?
We normally arrange first-fix work after the old kitchen is removed and before plastering and new units. This allows feeds, wastes and isolation points to be positioned while the walls and service routes remain accessible.
Can you move a radiator during the renovation?
Radiator moves and plinth-heater work can be included where suitable and agreed. We consider the new cabinet layout, heat requirements and available connections, then place that work in the programme before later finishes and fitting.
